APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the Board of
Directors of NVest is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Lana Joy Weldon as an
Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 6 October 2016.
Professor Weldon was also appointed as a member of the Company’s Audit & Risk and Remuneration Committees.
She is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with extensive managerial experience and currently
heads the Auditing Department of Fort Hare University. The Board believes that her expertise and
experience will add significant value to the NVest Group.
