APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, the Board of Directors of
Verimark (“Board”) is pleased to announce that Ms Amanda
Tandiwe (Tandi) Nzimande has been appointed as an Independent
Non-Executive Director of the Board with effect from Tuesday 1
November 2016 as well as Chairman of the Social, Ethics and
Transformation Committee, member of the Audit Committee, Risk
Committee and the Remuneration & Nominations Committee.
Tandi is a qualified Chartered Accountant and currently serves
as member of the Directors Affairs & Governance,
Transformation, and Remuneration Committee for FirstRand
Limited and is a member of the African Women’s Chartered
Accountants, South African Institute of Chartered Accountants
and a fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative.
The Chairman, together with the Board, welcomes Tandi.
