Stakeholders are referred to the announcement on 3 October
2016 advising that Famous Brands had concluded an agreement to
acquire 49,9% of By Word of Mouth (Pty)(Ltd).
The agreement was subject to the condition that the
Competition Commission approved the proposed acquisition in
terms of the Competition Act.
The Competition Commission has approved the transaction and
accordingly the agreement is unconditional in all respects.
The effective date of the acquisition is 1 December 2016.
