CHANGE IN THE NATURE OF A DIRECTOR’S HOLDING OF THE COMPANY’S SECURITIES
Shareholders are advised that on 23 November 2016 Simon Fifield, a director of Newpark, transferred
180 000 Newpark ordinary shares to an associate, Montgomery Investments (Pty) Ltd (“Montgomery”), of
which he is a director and holds an indirect beneficial interest, at a price of R5.94 per share (for a total
transaction value of R1 069 200), with settlement by way of an issue of Montgomery shares. Accordingly,
Simon’s interest in the 180 000 Newpark’s ordinary shares ceases to be a direct beneficial interest and
becomes an indirect beneficial interest. The transaction was conducted off-market and clearance to deal was
obtained.
