disclosed under the Disclosure, Transparency and Listing Rules of the United Kingdom

ACQUISITION OF ORDINARY SHARES BY CLIENTS OF ALLAN GRAY PROPRIETARY
LIMITED (“ALLAN GRAY”)
Investec Limited received formal notification on 02 December 2016 that clients of Allan Gray
have, in aggregate, acquired an interest in the Ordinary Shares such that the total interest in
the Ordinary Shares held by Allan Gray’s clients now amounts to 10.1126% of the total
issued Ordinary Shares of Investec Limited.
