DISCLOSURE OF SIGNIFICANT HOLDING OF WOOLWORTHS HOLDINGS ORDINARY
SHARES
This notice is in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements and section 122(3) of the Companies Act 71 of 2008, as amended (“the Act”).
On 19 February 2016, the company announced that accounts under the management of
JP Morgan Chase & Co (“JP Morgan”) had increased to 5.01% of the total issued shares of the
company. Subsequent to this notification, JP Morgan decreased its shareholding from 5.01% to
3.41%, which was inadvertently not announced on SENS.
Shareholders are now advised that accounts under the management of JP Morgan have
increased to 5.36% of the total issued ordinary shares in WHL.
