CHANGE IN THE NATURE OF A DIRECTOR’S AND OF ASSOCIATES OF A DIRECTOR’S HOLDINGS OF THE COMPANY’S SECURITIES
Shareholders are advised of the following information relating to dealings in securities by Sean Melnick (a
director of Peregrine) and by associates of Sean Melnick, on 23 February 2017:
- the trustees of the Champion Trust, an associate of Sean Melnick by virtue of him being a
beneficiary of the Champion Trust, awarded 4 297 617 Peregrine ordinary shares to Sean Melnick at
a price of R28.64 per share (for a total value of R123 083 750.88) thus changing the nature of his
interest in 4 297 617 Peregrine ordinary shares from indirect beneficial to direct beneficial; and
- the trustees of the Lita Trust, an associate of Sean Melnick by virtue of his wife Lindy Melnick being
a beneficiary of the Lita Trust, awarded 728 032 Peregrine ordinary shares to Lindy Melnick at a
price of R28.64 per share (for a total value of R20 850 836.48), thus changing the nature of her
interest in 728 032 Peregrine ordinary shares from indirect beneficial to direct beneficial. Such
transfer has no effect on Sean Melnick’s interest in these shares.
The transactions were conducted off-market and clearance to deal was obtained.
