RESIGNATION AND APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
In accordance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby
informed that Mr JZ Engelbrecht has resigned from his position
as Financial Director with effect from 1 April 2017. He will
ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities and provide
continual support, officially leaving the Company at the end
of May 2017. Mr Engelbrecht will continue to assist the
Company on an on-going basis as a consultant to identify
possible acquisition opportunities.
The Board would like to thank Mr Engelbrecht for his valuable
contribution to the Company as a director and wish him well
with his future endeavours.
Safari is pleased to announce the promotion and appointment to
the board of Mr WL Venter as the new Executive Financial
Director with effect from 1 April 2017.
Mr Venter is a CA(SA) and has worked indirectly for the for
the Company for the past 7 years as part of their Portfolio
Management service provider being directly involved in both
the portfolio management and finance functions of Safari.
The board wishes Mr Venter well in his new role.
