CHANGES TO THE BOARD
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements, the Board of Directors of Stellar Capital
(“Board”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Herman
Steyn as a non-executive director to the Board, with effect
from 4 April 2017.
Herman is the co-founder and CEO of the Prescient Group and
has been involved in the investment management industry since
1985, having held senior management positions in several
established asset management companies. He began his career in
investments after studying a BBusSc degree majoring in
Actuarial Science, Statistics, and Economics at the University
of Cape Town. Herman completed his BBusSc (Hons) in 1984 and
in 1998 founded Prescient Investment Management.
Herman is also a main board member of the Association for
Savings and Investment-South Africa.
The Board welcomes Herman and looks forward to his
contribution.
