DISCLOSURE OF BENEFICIAL INTERESTS IN SECURITIES IN MTN GROUP
MTN Group received a notification of disclosure on 14 April 2017 from The Capital Group
Companies, Inc. for disposal of a beneficial interest. The Capital Group Companies, Inc.
advised that it has disposed a beneficial interest in securities of MTN Group, such that the
total of all beneficial interests held is 4.875 % of the issued ordinary share capital of MTN
Group. This disclosure is in terms of section 122 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008, as
amended, and Regulation 121 of the Companies Regulations, 2011 and paragraph 3.83(b)
of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements.
