APPOINTMENT OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: MR KEVIN HEDDERWICK
The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Kevin
Hedderwick as a non-executive director of Famous Brands.
Mr Hedderwick has also been appointed to the Nominations Committee of
the board. The appointments are with effect from 2 May 2017.
Mr Hedderwick was Group Chief Executive of Famous Brands until
February 2016 and held the position of Group Strategic Adviser to the
board until February 2017. Mr Hedderwick brings to the deliberations
of the board a wealth of valued experience and expertise in the
markets in which Famous Brands operates.
Ms Santie Botha, Chairperson of Famous Brands said that she was very
pleased that Mr Hedderwick had accepted a position on the board and in
addition had agreed to remain on the boards of certain of the Group’s
joint venture and associated companies including Gourmet Burger
Kitchen in order to maintain continuity.
It has further been agreed that Mr Hedderwick will assist Famous
Brands on targeted strategic projects.
