QUARTERLY UPDATE AND APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
Shareholders are referred to the:
• previous cautionary announcements, the last of which was dated 5 April 2017;
• last quarterly update which was dated 27 January 2017; and
• SENS announcement, dated 29 July 2016, relating to the voluntary suspension of the Company’s shares
on the JSE Limited (“JSE”) (“the Suspension”).
In line with paragraph 1 (10) (c) of the JSE Listing Requirements, the Company is obliged to give an
update to the market of the state of the affairs of the Company until the Suspension is lifted.
We are pleased to advise that the board has held extensive discussions with a new potential investor
about recapitalising the business and funding a revised business plan which will be brought to the JSE
and shareholders in due course.
The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Miller to the board, effective
immediately. Michael is a qualified accountant, having obtained a BComm, PGDA and MComm from
University of Cape Town. He served his articles at Deloitte and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in
2008. Michael is an accomplished development strategist with a passion for rural development. Michael
will assist management with the development of a new business plan and funding. We are delighted to
bring his skills to bear on the turnaround strategy for the Company.
The Board is unable to give a clear indication at this stage as to when the Suspension will be lifted.
