TRADING STATEMENT FOR YEAR ENDED 28 FEBRUARY 2017
In terms of the Listing Requirements of the Botswana Stock Exchange, the Board of
Directors of Wilderness Holdings Limited (“the Company”) hereby announces that the
Company’s results for the year ended 28 February 2017 are likely to be more than 10%
lower than those achieved in the corresponding period in the prior year.
As will be more fully explained at the time of the results announcement scheduled for
the end of May 2017, the reason for this decline is the unrealised losses resulting from
translation of the Company’s foreign currency position, notwithstanding an increase in
segmental profit.
Shareholders are accordingly advised to exercise caution when dealing in the
Company’s securities until the results for the year ended 28 February 2017 are
announced.
The Company’s primary listing is on the BSE and its secondary listing is on the
Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
