NOTIFICATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 122(3) OF THE COMPANIES ACT AND
SECTION 3.83(b) OF THE JSE LISTINGS REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008
(“the Companies Act”), and section 3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements,
shareholders are advised that Cargo Carriers has received formal notification
in the prescribed format that:
New Seasons Investments Holdings (Pty) Ltd (“New Seasons”), a Level 1 BEE
Company, has acquired an interest in the securities of the Company such
that the total interest in the securities of the Company held by New Seasons is
13.59% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
BB Investment Company (Pty) Ltd (“BB Investment Company”) has disposed
of its interest in the securities of the Company such that the total interest in the
securities of the Company held by BB Investment Company amounts to 0.00%
of the total issued share capital of the Company.
Cargo Carriers hereby confirms that it has received the required notices from
New Seasons and BB Investment Company in terms of section 122(1)(a) of the
Companies Act. As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies
Act, Cargo Carriers will file the required notice with the Takeover Regulation
Panel.
