TRADING HALT
Buildmax shareholders are advised that the Company has become aware that there
may be two levels of information relating to the Company among third parties trading
in the market. The Company has notified the JSE Limited (“JSE”) and the Financial
Services Board (“FSB”) of this fact and the JSE has, consequently, declared a trading
halt in the Company’s securities today.
Such trading halt will remain in place until the Company has established the extent of
the two levels of information among third parties and taken steps to remedy this. The
Company has co-operated, and will continue to co-operate, fully with the JSE and the
FSB to lift the trading halt as soon as possible.
