TRADING HALT
Buildmax shareholders (“Shareholders”) are referred to the “Trading Halt”
announcement published on SENS on 29 June 2017 wherein they were advised that
the Company had become aware that there may have been two levels of information
relating to the Company among external third parties trading in the market.
The Company has co-operated with the JSE Limited in this regard, and following an
investigation by the Company, the Company has concluded that two levels of
information among external third parties trading in the market does not exist. This
conclusion has been reached given that inter alia the financial results for the year
ended 28 February 2017 have been published on 31 May 2017 and that the other
information is no longer relevant.
The JSE has consequently agreed to lift the trading halt imposed with immediate effect.
