STEINHOFF AFRICA RETAIL LIMITED (“STAR”) – PRE-LISTING STATEMENT PUBLISHED
Shareholders of Steinhoff are referred to the various announcements released regarding the
planned listing of STAR, a wholly owned subsidiary of Steinhoff, on the main board of the securities
exchange operated by the JSE Limited (“JSE”).
In this regard, STAR today announced that it has published its pre-listing statement containing
details pertaining to its intention to list its issued ordinary share capital on the JSE (the “Pre-listing
Statement”), which is scheduled to take place on 20 September 2017.
