Stellenbosch, 21 September 2017 – STEINHOFF INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS N.V. ("Steinhoff"
or the “Company”) refers to the press release and ad hoc announcement released on
18 September 2017 in which it informed the market of a hearing before the Enterprise
Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.
Steinhoff today presented its position to the court and remains confident that the argu-
ments, supported by independent lawyers and legal opinions will lead to the rejection
of the petition .
The chamber will now deliberate and Steinhoff expects a court decision to be pre-
sented within the next two months.
