VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcement issued on 6 October 2017 in terms of
which shareholders were notified of unrest at the Palesa Coal Mine where Diesel Power (the
main operating subsidiary of Buildmax) provides contract mining services to Palesa Coal.
Buildmax is pleased to confirm that as of Monday 9 October 2017 the situation has been
resolved and Diesel Power is back on site.
