In compliance with section 3.83 (b) of the JSE Listings Requirements and section
122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008, as amended, shareholders are hereby
advised that the Company has received formal notification that the Investec Group, on
behalf of its underlying funds and clients, has disposed of ordinary shares of the
Company, such that the total interest in securities currently held in Ansys is 9.9933% of
the total issued ordinary shares in Ansys.
