CHANGES TO THE BOARD – APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CHAIRMAN
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
Master Plastics (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders, that with immediate effect:
- Mrs. Sibongile Masinga has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairperson
of the Audit Committee of the Company.
Sibongile holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with majors in Accounting and Financial management
and has extensive experience in business, investments and finance. She is the co-founder of the
Afropulse Group and has since 2006 served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Afropulse Group.
Sibongile serves on a number of boards, including that of Bidvest.
- Mr. Thabo Mokgatlha, currently an Independent Non-Executive Director, Chairman of the Audit
Committee and Acting Chairman of the Board, has been appointed as Chairman of the Board and has
accordingly resigned from his role as Chairman of the Audit Committee, to be filled by Sibongile.
The Board wishes them well with their new roles in the Company.
