RESULTS OF CAPITAL RAISING
The board of directors of Brainworks is pleased to advise shareholders that the Company has
successfully raised US$8 179 808 following the placement of 9 078 677 of its treasury shares with
investors, at a price of R11.50 per share (equal to USD0.90 at an exchange rate of 12.78) (“the
Placement”).
The relevant shares will be transferred to investors on receipt of the necessary approval from the
Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. The Company will have 1 601 879 shares in treasury after the
Placement.
The funds raised pursuant to the Placement will be applied towards the restructuring of the
Company’s balance sheet in order to position it for growth going forward.
