APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the
following information is disclosed:
Distell is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr MJ Bowman as
non-executive director to the Board of Distell, with effect from 27
October 2017.
Mr Bowman brings a wealth of experience to the group with expertise
in marketing, international business, general business and fast-
moving consumer goods. He is also a non-executive director of Tiger
Brands, the Dischem Group and Mr Price Group. Former managing
director of SABMiller Africa, with extensive experience in beverages
and developing markets. SABMiller career that spanned operational
roles in SA Beer, managing director of ABI (listed soft drinks
division), chairman of Appletiser and managing director of Kompania
Piwowarska (Poland).
The Board welcomes Mr Bowman and look forward to his contribution.
