CHANGE IN DIRECTORATE
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
shareholders are hereby advised of a change in directorate. Shareholders are reminded of the
strategic decision taken by the Board during the first half of the year to pursue the separate
listing of the Shipping division on a recognised international stock exchange. The proposed
transaction is progressing well, and as part of the transaction, executive director and chief
executive officer of the Shipping division, Martyn Richard Wade will step down from the board
of directors of the Company to take up a directorship with the newly formed Shipping holding
company, Grindrod Shipping Holdings Pte Limited effective 1 November 2017.
