VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Buildmax shareholders are advised that Diesel Power Opencast Mining Proprietary Limited
(“Diesel Power”), the main operating subsidiary of Buildmax, has exercised its right to terminate
its agreement with Sibanye Stillwater Limited for materials handling, crushing, screening and
transportation at Kloof in Westonaria, which commenced in January 2015.
A process in terms of section 189 of the Labour Relations Act will be undertaken in relation to
affected employees, and it is anticipated that Diesel Power will be off site by 15 March 2018.
