VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Further to the voluntary announcement released earlier today, 9 January 2017, Diesel Power
Proprietary Limited “Diesel Power” (the main operating subsidiary of Buildmax) has been affected
by an unprotected strike by Diesel Power employees at the Palesa operation. The Company
confirms that it is not due to unrest in the surrounding community as was previously
communicated.
Diesel Power is working with Palesa Coal to resolve the situation without any further disruptions.
