CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Afrox shareholders are
advised of the resignation of Mr Richard Gearing, a non-executive director of the Company, effective
on 18 February 2018.
Mr Richard Gearing, Head of Operations for region Africa and United Kingdom for Linde Group AG,
the holding company of Afrox, was appointed as a non-executive director to the Afrox board of
directors (“Board”) in August 2012 and has been a member of the Safety, Health, Environment and
Quality Committee since 2013.
The Board would like to express their gratitude to Mr Gearing for his valuable contribution to Afrox.
