NOTIFICATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 122(3) OF THE COMPANIES ACT AND SECTION
3.83(b) OF THE JSE LISTINGS REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008 ("the Act"), and section
3.83(b) of the JSE Listing Requirements, holders of ordinary shares in Ascendis are advised that:
1. WDB Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd (“WDB”) has purchased Ascendis ordinary shares, such
that its beneficial interest in Ascendis now amounts to 5.17% of the total number of shares in
issue; and
2. Sentio Capital Management (Pty) Ltd (“Sentio”) has purchased Ascendis ordinary shares, such
that its beneficial interest in Ascendis now amounts to 5.00% of the total number of shares in
issue.
Ascendis hereby confirms that it has received the required notices from WDB and Sentio in terms of
Section 122(1) of the Act. As required in terms of section 122(3) (a) of the Act, Ascendis has filed the
required notices with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
