TRP121: NOTIFICATION OF AN ACQUISITION OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SHARES
In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 (“the Companies Act”), regulation
121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations, 2011 and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements, shareholders are advised that Peregrine has received notification from Old Mutual plc
(“Old Mutual”) of the acquisition by Old Mutual of Peregrine shares such that Old Mutual’s total beneficial
interest (on behalf of the entire Old Mutual plc group) is now 10,32 % of Peregrine’s total issued ordinary
shares, including treasury shares.
As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, Peregrine has filed the required notice with
the Takeover Regulation Panel.
