PASSING OF A DIRECTOR
It is with deep sadness that the shareholders of Aveng are
advised that Mr Peter John Erasmus, an independent non-
executive director of the Company, passed away on 4 February
2018. This notification is in compliance with paragraph
3.59(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements.
Peter was a dedicated member of the Board since March 2011. He
served as Risk Committee chairman, Tender Risk Committee
chairman and a member of the Audit Committee.
The Board wishes to express its sincerest appreciation for
Peter’s tireless and dedicated effort towards Aveng until the
end, and its heartfelt condolences to his wife Dianne and
their family.
