UPDATE REGARDING LICENSE DISPUTE – FG LANDFILL
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News
Service on 13 June 2016 which advised that a High Court application for the review and
setting aside of the compliance notice relating to FG Landfill would be heard in due
course.
Today, Interwaste appeared in the Pretoria North Gauteng Court (the Court) to address
the dispute with regards to the validity of our operational license of the FG Landfill site
with the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD) and the
Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA).
The Court has ruled in the Company’s favour together with a cost order, confirming that
the FG Landfill site’s license is valid.
