In accordance with Section 122 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008, as amended, we hereby advise
shareholders that the Company was informed on 20 February 2018, that Public Investment Corporation
SOC Limited acquired Exxaro shares and their holding in the Company therefore now equates to 10.216
per cent of the total issued ordinary shares in the Company.
