CHANGES TO THE BOARD: NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, the shareholders are hereby
informed of the resignation of Mr. Khathutshelo Mapasa (“K2”) as
an independent non-executive director with effect from
23 February 2018.
K2 was appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Managing
Director of Basil Read on 23 October 2017. Due to his new role
he made the decision to resign as a non-executive director of
Argent in order to fully focus on his core responsibilities at
Basil Read.
The Board would like to thank K2 for his contribution to the
company and wishes him well in his future ventures.
