Shareholders are referred to the announcement released by Sappi on the Stock Exchange
News Service of the JSE on 05 December 2017 regarding the acquisition of the speciality
paper business of Cham Paper Group Holding AG (“CPG”).
The board of directors of Sappi wish to advise shareholders that all conditions precedent
relating to the acquisition have now been fulfilled with the closing completed on 28 February
2018.
