APPOINTMENTS TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with rules 3.59(a) and (b) of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders of the
Company are hereby advised of the following appointments to
the board, all of which are effective with immediate
effect.
Ms. Lulu Letlape as independent non-executive director. Ms
Letlape obtained her masters degree from Johannesburg
University in Public and Development Management. She has
extensive experience in corporate communication, community
development and stakeholder management in both the
parastatal and private sector sphere and worked at senior
levels of management for companies such as Telkom, Mercedes
Benz, Sanlam and BHP Billiton.
Mr. Chris Roberts as independent non-executive
director. Mr Roberts is a commercial property developer
who has been involved in shopping centre, office and
residential developments for the past 30 years and has
extensive experience in identifying development
opportunities, property finance, leasing and general
property management.
Mr Dirk Engelbrecht as executive director. Mr Engelbrecht
has obtained his BCom LLB from the University of Pretoria
and after completing his articles at Weavind & Weavind
remained there as professional assistant until 2011 when he
joined G4S Secure Solutions as National Legal
Manager. Dirk joined Safari in 2014 as Group Company
Secretary and legal advisor. Dirk was appointed as
Executive Director: Legal Services.
