CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF PPC (“BOARD”)
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, the Board wishes to inform shareholders of the resignation of Mr
Tim Ross as Chairman of the Audit committee, Lead Independent director and
non-executive director of PPC, with immediate effect.
The Board would like to thank Mr Ross for his valuable contribution to PPC
and wishes him well on his future endeavours.
As previously communicated to shareholders in the SENS announcement on 2
March 2018, the above changes are part of the alignment of the Board
composition with its strategic priorities. As a result, the board has
appointed Ms Nonkululeko Gobodo as the new chairman of the Audit committee
in accordance with its succession plans.
