UPDATE REGARDING LICENSE DISPUTE – FG LANDFILL
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News
Service on 13 February 2018 regarding the judgement which was delivered in the North
Gauteng High Court (the Court) in the dispute regarding the validity of our operational
licence of the FG Landfill site with the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural
Development (GDARD) and the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA). The Court
ruled in the Company’s favour together with a cost order, confirming that the FG Landfill
site’s licence in valid.
GDARD and the DEA together with the Greater Midstream Forum applied for Leave to
Appeal, which was granted by the Court today.
We continue to operate at the FG Landfill site under a valid licence.
We will keep shareholders updated with regards to any developments relating to this
dispute.
