DISCLOSURE OF DISPOSAL OF SECURITIES IN PICK N PAY STORES LIMITED

JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that Genesis Asset Managers, LLP
has disposed of shares in the company. Its total beneficial interest has been reduced by
1.2%, with its shareholding now amounting to 4.91% of the total number of shares in
issue.
Formal notification has been received from Genesis Asset Managers, LLP and Pick n Pay
Stores Limited has filed the required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
