Johannesburg, Thursday, 17 May 2018. Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited
(“Harmony” and/or “the Company”) regrets to advise that one of its employees was
fatally injured in a shaft ore pass incident and succumbed to his injuries at
its Moab Khotsong mine near Orkney in the North West Province on Thursday
morning.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
Management express their deepest condolences to the deceased employee’s family,
friends and colleagues.
