Shareholders are advised that following receipt of interest by a third party to acquire a subsidiary of Gold
Brands, the board of directors of the Company has decided to enter into a formal process to evaluate the
disposal of such subsidiary, which if successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the price of the
Company’s securities.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s securities until a
further announcement is made.
