BOARD AND COMMITTEE CHANGES
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised that Mr Thabo Dloti has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the
Company, and member of the Acquisitions, Capital Oversight and Social, Ethics and
Transformation Committees with effect from 1 August 2018.
Thabo Dloti is a seasoned financial services leader with a demonstrable track record of excellence
in driving strategy and transformation within blue-chip companies in South Africa and
internationally. He has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the challenges that face
South Africa’s economic environment and has played various industry-wide roles to enable the
businesses he has led to thrive and improve the trading environment for all industry players.
Mr Dloti is the outgoing Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Holdings Limited, chairman of STANLIB,
chairman of the ASISA board and has led the savings and insurance sector in engaging with all its
key stakeholders, including the national treasury.
The Board welcomes Mr Dloti and looks forward to his contribution to the Alexander Forbes Group
as it delivers on its Ambition 2022 strategy of building a globally distinctive Pan-African financial
services leader.
