SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL CREDIT RATINGS ANNOUNCEMENT
Old Mutual Life Assurance Company (South Africa) Limited’s (“OMLACSA”) national scale rating was
upgraded to ‘zaAAA’ from ‘zaAA+’. Its issuer credit rating on the subordinated deferrable debt was
upgraded to ‘zaAA-’ from ‘zaA’. The rating action concludes the revision of Standard & Poor’s criteria
on national scale ratings and subsequent recalibration of their mapping table for South Africa.
At the same time, the under criteria observation (“UCO”) identifier on OMLACSA’S ratings was
removed.
