VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING INSTITUTIONAL FUNDING
The Board of Directors is pleased to advise shareholders that the Company has secured, through its
wholly owned subsidiary, Ecsponent Limited, incorporated in the Republic of Botswana, debt funding
in an amount of USD 5 million (ZAR 67.3 million as of the date of this announcement) on market related
terms from Norsad Finance Limited.
The US dollar-based funding will be deployed to expand Ecsponent’s growing investment operations
outside South Africa.
