CHANGES TO THE SOCIAL AND ETHICS COMMITTEE
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, Metair
shareholders are hereby advised of the following changes to the Company’s Social and
Ethics Committee (“Committee”).
Ms J. Gressel and Mr MC. Mahlanu have resigned as members of the Committee to align
the composition of the Committee in accordance with the recommendations of the King IV
Report on Corporate Governance for South Africa, 2016.
In line with the Group’s best practise governance principles, subsidiary representatives
attend the Committee meetings and the above-mentioned representatives will remain as
standing invitees to the Committee for the remainder of the year. The meeting attendance
by subsidiary representatives will be rotated so that all subsidiaries get a chance to be
part of a Committee meeting.
