UPDATED TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that there is a reasonable degree of certainty
that the financial results for the next reporting period will differ by more than 20% from those of the
previous corresponding period.
With reference to the trading statement released on 15 June 2018, and consistent with the interim
results released on 19 February 2018 a review of the financial results for the year ended 30 June 2018
by management has indicated that the earnings and headline earnings per share are expected to be
between 19.8 cents and 20.9 cents, compared to the earnings and headline earnings per share of 41.8
cents and 41.5 cents respectively, being between 49% and 53% lower for the year ended 30 June 2017.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on
by SilverBridge’s auditors. SilverBridge’s financial results are expected to be released on SENS on or
about 11 September 2018.
