In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008 ("the Act") and section
3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that Adcock
Ingram has received formal notification that the Public Investment Corporation Soc Ltd ("PIC") has
acquired a beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of Adcock Ingram, such that the total beneficial
interest in the ordinary shares of Adcock Ingram held by the PIC now amounts to 25.142% of the
total issued ordinary shares of Adcock Ingram.
As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Act, the Company has filed the required notice with
the Takeover Regulation Panel.
