NEW APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The FirstRand board is pleased to announce that Mr Louis Leon von Zeuner has been appointed as an independent
non-executive director to FirstRand Limited and its wholly-owned subsidiary, FirstRand Bank Limited with effect from
1 February 2019.
Mr von Zeuner brings to the boards more than 30 years of banking experience and the Prudential Authority has
confirmed that it has no objection to the appointment of Mr von Zeuner to the boards. FirstRand is looking forward to
welcoming Mr von Zeuner in February 2019.
