TRADING STATEMENT
In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the Johannesburg
Stock Exchange, shareholders are advised that for the six-month period ended 31
August 2018:
- Earnings per share (“EPS”) movements are expected to be as follows:
o Earnings per share (“EPS”) from total operations is expected to be between 74.7
cents per share and 84.05 cents per share, reflecting an increase of between 21%
and 36% respectively, when compared to the EPS of 61.80 cents per share
reported for the prior comparative period ended 31 August 2017.
- Headline earnings per share (‘HEPS”) movements are expected to be as follows:
o Headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) is expected to be between 84.42
cents per share and 94.47 cents per share, reflecting an increase of
between 26% and 41% respectively, when compared to the HEPS of 67
cents per share reported for the prior period ended 31 August 2017.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed and reported on by the Company’s auditors.
The Company expects its results for the period ended 31 August 2018 to be released
on SENS on or about 17 October 2018.
