The Issuer hereby informs the market that on 20 October 2018 the Board of Directors of the
Issuer resolved to terminate the employment contract of the Group Chief Executive, Mr.
Siyabonga Gama, and that such termination was effective as of 22 October 2018.

The Board of Directors will in due course, after consultation with the Minister of Public
Enterprises, announce the appointment of the Interim Group Chief Executive. This will be
followed by a recruitment process to appoint a permanent Group Chief Executive.
