In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), the board of
directors ("the board") wishes to advise shareholders of the appointment of Mr C de Vrye as
independent non-executive director of the Company, effective 1 November 2018.
Mr De Vrye is a qualified chartered accountant (South Africa) and has 40 years’ experience in
corporate banking, 16 of which was at executive level and 9 at non-executive board level. Mr De
Vrye also gained experience in the insurance and investment industry at non-executive independent
board level during the past 9 years.
The board would like to congratulate Mr De Vrye and wish him well in this endeavour.
